Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive network architectures and designs for clients and internal teams.
  • Implement advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) across complex topologies.
  • Perform regular network assessments, audits, and health checks to optimize infrastructure performance.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues involving routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and designs.
  • Lead network migrations, upgrades, and transitions between different vendor platforms.
  • Evaluate and implement network security best practices, particularly with Fortinet firewalls.
  • Provide post-deployment support and knowledge transfer to clients and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or consulting roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • In-depth knowledge of advanced routing protocols including BGP.
    • Solid understanding of VLANs, STP, VRFs, NAT, and VPNs.
  • Experience with firewall policy creation, UTM features, and threat prevention in Fortinet platforms.
  • Familiarity with high availability (HA), failover, and redundancy concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
  • Fortinet NSE4/FCP or higher certification.
  • Experience with SD-WAN, network automation tools, or cloud networking.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service delivery frameworks.
