About this role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and mentor a team of Utility Engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections and data accuracy in the electric utility sector.

Responsibilities include managing and developing a team of engineers, overseeing the cataloging of utility assets, ensuring quality control of work packages, and collaborating with utility companies to meet project goals.

  1. Manage a team of Utility Engineers, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
  2. Oversee the development and implementation of asset management strategies, including equipment inventory, maintenance scheduling, and quality control procedures.
  3. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, staying updated on emerging trends and technologies.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field (desired).
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, and utility construction standards.
