Job Overview

This role involves working with small business owners to ensure their 401(k) plans are up-to-date and compliant. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a basic understanding of 401(k) plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client communication and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Develop a solid understanding of 401(k) plan structures and regulations
  • Assist clients with annual filing processes and provide guidance on 401(k) plan management
  • Update client information in our customer relationship management system
  • Upload investment management statements to client accounts
  • Review accounts for outstanding documents and communicate with clients regarding necessary actions
  • Perform outbound reminder calls to clients regarding missing information or incomplete filings
  • Exhibit exceptional client service skills and ability to work with diverse client situations

Requirements:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred
  • Prior phone experience focused on outbound dials (call center or cold calling)
  • Excellent grasp of Microsoft 365 applications
  • Ability to adapt easily to process changes and new organizational initiatives
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach
