Genfinity is seeking a Threat Response Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing live events, determining the plan of action, and providing home monitoring via cameras. They will also intervene to warn off trespassers and potential thieves as needed.

The main function of this position is to provide situational awareness and address threats in real-time. The coordinator will review events that trigger our AI security systems on the perimeter of customer's homes, businesses, and properties.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing actual, live events and determining the plan of action: address the subject, contact emergency services, trigger a siren or call the homeowner.
  • Providing home monitoring via cameras and intervening to warn off trespassers and potential thieves if necessary.
  • Reviewing any events that trigger our AI security systems on the perimeter of customer's homes, business, and properties. If necessary, contact the threat via 2-way audio in the customer's perimeter, contact emergency services, or both to address the threat.
  • Providing internal feedback as an advocate for customers in the company: identify and escalate priority issues, build processes to identify and avoid repeat mistakes/issues.
  • Assisting in providing feedback on internal processes for managing our central security station.
  • Working with customer service teams and engineering to refine our system.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of any 4-year course
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Preferably a year of experience in security/law enforcement/emergency dispatch, surveillance.
  • Love of technology - Proficient in relevant computer applications (i.e., web browsing applications, email etc.)
  • Type 35 WPM minimum.
  • Be proficient in communicating in stressful situations. You will be trained and tested. Calling emergency services in an emergency requires calmness and clarity of thought.
  • Be comfortable using your voice You will need to communicate with customers courteously, emergency services clearly and concisely, and suspects firmly and confidently.
  • We are looking for people who are curious by nature and willing to intervene and investigate situations without hesitation.
  • Be able to work on various shifts and work overtime as needed.
  • Willing to work onsite.
