We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Associate.

This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or finance, with 2-3 years' experience in tax return preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare federal, state, and local business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and other business entities.
  • Evaluate clients' compliance with applicable tax regulations and ensure they meet their federal and state income tax obligations.
  • Prepare extension calculations and requests, estimated tax calculations, and assist with tax planning projects.
  • Analyze financial statements for accuracy and adjust as needed.
  • Prepare supporting tax workpapers, including tax provision, capital, and/or basis calculations, depreciation schedules, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, especially as they relate to business entities.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
