Hiring a skilled e-commerce professional to oversee their online storefront from inception to completion. With frequent product launches and an expanding customer base, they require someone who can maintain a seamless user experience.

  • Develop, customize, and maintain the Shopify Plus storefront and related integrations to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Implement pixel-perfect designs into responsive Shopify themes to provide a consistent brand image.
  • Develop both front-end and back-end features to enhance the overall shopping experience.
  • Launch new products and campaigns every 4–6 weeks, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure creative assets are seamlessly integrated into the storefront.
  • Integrate and customize Shopify apps, scripts, and APIs as needed to streamline workflows.
Responsibilities
  • Store Development & Customization
    • Develop, customize, and maintain the Shopify Plus storefront and related integrations to optimize performance.
    • Implement responsive design principles and pixel-perfect designs to create a cohesive brand image.
    • Develop both front-end and back-end features to improve the overall shopping experience.
    • Launch new products and campaigns every 4–6 weeks, ensuring flawless rollouts and minimizing downtime.
    • Ensure creative assets are implemented seamlessly.
    • Integrate and customize Shopify apps, scripts, and APIs as needed to enhance the storefront.
  • Site Optimization & Performance
    • Continuously monitor and improve site speed, load times, and responsiveness to ensure optimal performance.
    • Optimize scripts, images, and code to support a mobile-first experience.
    • Leverage tools to maintain high performance scores and minimize errors.
    • Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement long-term performance fixes.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance
    • Quickly debug and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and protect the customer experience.
    • Test changes in staging environments before deployment to prevent errors.
    • Deploy updates during low-traffic windows to maintain seamless operations.
    • Maintain clean code and ensure consistency across updates.
  • Integrations & Automation
    • Manage critical integrations with third-party services to streamline workflows.
    • Troubleshoot app conflicts and ensure seamless integration with all third-party tools.
    • Recommend new apps, tools, and automations to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Growth
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute high-impact launches and drive business growth.
    • Provide input on timelines and campaign feasibility.
    • Share ideas to improve UX, conversions, and checkout flow.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
    • Document processes and create scalable dev workflows for future growth.
  • Research & Innovation
    • Explore emerging trends and suggest opportunities for innovation to drive business growth.
    • Test and recommend A/B strategies to improve conversion rates.
    • Contribute insights to strengthen the DTC customer journey.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Shopify development experience, strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and responsive design principles skills, and an understanding of e-commerce UX/UI best practices.
