Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Professional to manage complex tax compliance and advisory services, ensuring adherence to Australian tax regulations while providing high-quality service to clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review individual, corporate, trust, partnership, and Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations and deadlines.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits and notices.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Research and interpret tax laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry developments.
  • Prepare and present tax reports to management and clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements as they relate to tax matters.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CA qualification is a plus but not required.
  • 5–7 years of experience in tax accounting within a public accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to conduct client meetings and address tax planning needs.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving client tax issues.

A reliable internet connection is essential for this role.

Work Setup and Schedule

This is a full-time day shift position with fixed Saturday and Sunday off, offering remote work-from-home arrangement with a dedicated workspace and uninterrupted work hours.
