The IT Director is responsible for overseeing the organization's technology strategy and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive digital transformation initiatives and support technological growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all technology operations, policies, and systems to support company strategies and improve efficiency.
  • Empower and train direct reports to manage systems and tasks independently.
  • Lead a team of up to 8 direct reports (plus their teams), providing training, clear instructions, and consistent project oversight.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, set hiring goals, and maintain a skills matrix.
  • Communicate effectively—delegate down, report up, and keep leadership informed.
  • Ensure effective delegation, accountability, and follow-through on results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with a strong background in IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring IT teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and project management.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data management, and IT governance.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, or similar.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Certifications (preferred but not required): PMP, CISSP, or other relevant certifications.
