Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facade Designer and Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in facade detailing and quantity takeoffs, with a strong background in preparing shop drawings and reviewing architectural and structural plans.

You will be expected to collaborate closely with engineers and project stakeholders to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems
  • Perform material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF
  • Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations
  • Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specs
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in facade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems
  • Skilled in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings
