We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team at PTCC Facade Design. In this role, you will work closely with facade designers and interact with clients to produce facade designs for prestigious buildings in locations around the world. As a Structural Engineer specializing in facades, you will ensure that the facade systems being developed are safe, economical, and conform to local technical regulations and industry standards.

This role involves utilizing various structural calculation approaches, from hand calculations to finite element analysis. Working in a design and consulting environment means that you will encounter technically challenging engineering problems. This is a full-time position, and you will be working in our office in Makati City.

What We're Looking ForWe're seeking an engineer with excellent analytical skills who has a high attention to detail, and is creative in problem solving. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with less than one year of experience who is enthusiastic about learning and developing their skills in facade structural engineering.

Accepted candidates will receive training in this field to become an expert in the industry. In particular, we are seeking an engineer who will be handling finite element modeling and analysis of facade components, which will be done in an open source computer software. If you have prior facade structural engineering and / or finite element modeling experience, compensation can be adjusted based on your qualifications.

ResponsibilitiesWork with facade designers and produce facade designs that are in accordance with project requirements. Develop finite element models of facade components. Prepare calculation reports and other technical reports.

Conduct technical reviews of facade designs and calculation reports.Become familiar with the latest technical standards and codes for various regions, including USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Attend meetings with clients as a technical representative. RequirementsThe following requirements are essential for this position:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

PRC license is preferred, but fresh graduates are very much welcome to apply. In addition, the following qualifications would be advantageous:Prior experience in the facade industry. Background knowledge of finite element theory.

Proficiency in Python or any programming language. Familiarity with STAAD, Robot, or any structural analysis software. Experience using any CAD software.
