Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in compliance with US GAAP
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations
  • Perform month-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entry postings, and accurate reporting
  • Process monthly revenue tasks, including reconciliations, posting of entries, and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and assist auditors as needed
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of annual tax returns
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights and recommendations based on financial data
  • Support accounts receivable tasks, including contract uploads, billing, invoicing, and cash application
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve billing issues
  • Process monthly payroll activities, including payroll runs and payroll entries
  • Assist with investor and bank reporting
  • Manage emails effectively within a ticketing system
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform ad hoc tasks, financial analysis, and process improvement projects as needed
Requirements/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
