Job Description:

We are seeking an Operations Process Specialist to join our team in Accounts Payable. As a key member of our AP team, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices accurately and responding to queries to ensure timely payment.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and process invoices along with providing resolutions for the invoices and releasing them for payment.
  • Demonstrate basic Accounts payable process concepts – three-way match, purchase order, non-purchase order, goods receipt note etc.
  • Understand nuances of AP aspects.
  • Import Invoices processing – check Bill of Entry, packing list before posting.
  • Proficient in Tax Deducted at Source; aware of percentage of deduction for major categories.
  • Aware of TDS applicable on Service expense incurred in foreign currency.
  • Know basics of Goods and Services Tax including intrastate, interstate, state, and central components along with rates.
  • Resolve all vendor queries and requests coming via emails/tickets within agreed Service Level Agreement.
  • Review and validate basic essentials of valid invoice like supplier details, purchase order, bank account, invoice number, invoice date etc.
  • Maintain a tracker of exceptions and ensure Invoices/queries are balanced based on exception tracker.
  • Maintain exception logs for process-related exceptions as and when they occur for knowledge retention.
  • Independently perform transactional tasks which support compliance, planning, and execution of assigned processes.
  • Follow up with requisitions (via calls/emails or tickets) to solve hold invoice as per AP guideline.
  • Ensure internal compliance policy and guidelines established by management on daily operational activities.
  • Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices/queries are balanced as per guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Graduate in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Commerce.
  • Significant work experience.
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
