QA Analyst Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA professional to fill a challenging role in our organization.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through thorough testing and analysis. Key responsibilities include developing, executing and maintaining test plans, test cases and test scripts, performing functional, regression, integration and performance testing on software applications, identifying, documenting and tracking software defects using bug-tracking tools, collaborating with development teams to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met, conducting root cause analysis and suggesting improvements to enhance software quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role
  • Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail or similar
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience in performance and security testing

Skills that would be valuable in this position include knowledge of automated and manual testing techniques, experience with API testing tools such as Postman, familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
