Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks with a focus on accounts receivable, supporting the preparation of financial statements, and assisting with documentation for tax reporting and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, applying manual payments, generating aging reports, and reconciling customer accounts.
  • Recording routine journal entries and bank transactions.
  • Processing AR payments and credit card transactions as needed.
  • Assisting with month-end closings and account reconciliations.
  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial data.
  • Performing bank reconciliations.
  • Collaborating with and supporting team members as needed.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-2 years of experience in accrual-based accounting, including AR, journal entries, month-end close, and bank reconciliations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • High attention to detail with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and dependable.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
