About the Role:We are seeking an experienced accountant to prepare financial statements, BAS, IAS, and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, BAS, IAS, and tax returns
- Perform reconciliations and prepare workpapers
- Liaise with senior accountants/managers to finalise jobs
- Support juniors and review simple tasks when needed
- Minimum 3 years' Australian public practice accounting experience
- Solid understanding of Australian tax rules and compliance standards
- Competence in managing jobs with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
