Key Responsibilities
- HR Management and Compliance — Maintain accurate employee records; support drafting, issuing, and filing contracts and compliance documents; track probation and contract renewal dates.
- Recruitment Support — Schedule interviews, liaise with candidates, and manage updates; prepare onboarding packs for new hires.
- Employee Engagement — Act as first point of contact for basic HR queries; help organise employee engagement activities (socials, recognition, surveys).
- Performance Support — Assist with scheduling check-ins, feedback cycles, and training sessions; update performance records.
- Systems Support — Keep HRIS and permissions updated in line with role changes; generate reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment pipeline, and absence data.
Person Specification
The Ideal Candidate has:
- 2-5 years of HR experience in a scale-up or professional services environment.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling confidential information.
- Tech-savvy (confident with HRIS, spreadsheets).
- Values: proactive, people-first mindset, dependable, eager to learn.
The Desirable Candidate has:
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding end-to-end.
- Familiarity with employment law basics and compliance.
