Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to provide high-quality interpretation services in English and Vietnamese. The ideal candidate will utilize strong verbal communication, bilingual accuracy, and ethical decision making to facilitate effective communication between clients and their audience.

About the Role

This is a full-time remote position that requires the ability to think clearly and act professionally in fast-moving, emotionally complex situations. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team environment to meet client needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation services in English and Vietnamese;
  • Utilize strong verbal communication and bilingual accuracy to facilitate effective communication;
  • Make ethical decisions in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism;
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet client needs and expectations;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments to provide expert-level interpretation services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); college education preferred;
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese with B2+ proficiency or higher;
  • Ability to pass a language and interpreting skills assessment;
  • Minimum of 6 months of call center, customer service, or interpreting experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong sense of professional responsibility, integrity, and time management;
  • Comfortable with assertive communication and session control;
  • Basic computer skills, including typing and MS Office navigation;
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace conducive to active listening and sustained concentration.
Working Conditions
  • Full-time remote work arrangement;
  • Stable home internet connection (cable, DSL, or fiber; cellular data and hotspots not permitted).
