Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Cantonese - English Bilingual Interpreter. The Interpreter will facilitate effective communication between Cantonese and English-speaking clients. This includes providing accurate and timely interpretation during phone calls, video conferences, and other communication formats. The role involves being attentive to the cultural nuances and context of both languages to ensure clear and accurate communication.

Qualifications
  • Fluency in both Cantonese and English, including strong verbal and written skills
  • Excellent listening and concentration skills
  • Ability to accurately interpret conversations in real-time
  • Knowledge of cultural nuances and ability to handle culturally sensitive conversations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Experience in interpretation or translation services is a plus
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in interpretation or linguistics are advantageous
  • Must have desktop or laptop with 16GB RAM, wired headset, camera and a stable internet connection with 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
Compensation

Salary: PHP90,000 per month

Sign-on bonus: PHP50,000
