People Operations Coordinator Role Overview

This position will provide support to the HR function by assisting with various people operations activities and ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR and People Experience, excellent organizational skills, and a strong customer service orientation. This role will be in a global team spanning multiple locations, specifically delivering new hire orientation and onboarding sessions.

  • Work closely with the HR team to deliver an empathic and customer service-focused experience for all employees.
  • Assist with employee inquiries, providing high-level customer service and exploring opportunities to innovate and advance our People Operations backbone.

Responsibilities

Employee Experience
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives that promote a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement.

HR Administration

  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including pre-boarding, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, employee change requests, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Coordinate HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, change letters, and HR-related correspondence.

Systems, Automation & Reporting

  • Ensure rigorous quality assurance processes for all data entry tasks.
  • Develop automation of HR processes to eliminate manual repetitive tasks.
  • Ownership of the People Confluence space and HR Google Drive, keeping documents up-to-date and accurate.

Employee Relations

  • Triage Zendesk tickets within 24 hours, providing timely responses to employee inquiries.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is desired.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS software.
