Accounting Manager Role

This is a mid-senior level, full-time position that involves overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supervising accounting staff.

Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and coordinating audits.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Certified Public Accountant degree, strong technical experience in end-to-end accounting, and at least 5 years' experience in General Accounting and Financial Reporting.

You should also have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Supervisory/Managerial role and be willing to work onsite in BGC Taguig City.

Accounting and Auditing Responsibilities

As an Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Financial Planning and Budgeting: Ensure budget targets and guidelines are cascaded to the assigned brand, work with brand leadership teams to prepare plans/budgets/forecasts, and finalize presentation packs by providing additional business insights and commentary.

• Business Performance Measurement and Decision Support: Track business performance vs plans/budgets/forecasts, analyze and draw insights from reports and market related benchmark data, drive cost controllership, and support brands to make timely, strategically aligned and value maximizing decisions through multi-dimensional analysis.

• Reporting, Governance and Control: Sign-off statutory, regulatory reporting and group reporting, work with Tax teams to ensure tax position for revenue and spend is optimized, and risks minimized, facilitate communication of and monitor compliance to Finance and Accounting policies and procedures across the Brand, and manage internal and external financial and tax audits.
