Job Opportunity: Senior SMSF Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience working with Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) and possess excellent communication skills.

This role requires a strong working knowledge of Class Super, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, formulas, and data analysis. Experience with Xero and financial statement preparation is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super.
  • Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements.
  • Evaluate opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in SMSF workflows.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of Class Super.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
