Job Summary

As a Security Officer I, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of our premises. This is an entry-level position that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, ensuring security of doors, windows, and gates.
  • Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as damage, theft, or unauthorized persons.
  • Call police or fire departments in emergencies.
  • Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.
  • Check all vehicles and doors to ensure they are locked and secured.
  • Notify management immediately of illegal activities.
  • Safeguard company property, report theft or unauthorized possession.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, email, and internet preferred.
  • Guard Card issued by California and valid driver's license required. Proof of insurance and acceptable driving record required.
