Job Title: Senior Mental Health Support Specialist

 

The REBEL Helpline Responder plays a critical role in ensuring mental health support for our customers and helping us reach more people around the world. We are seeking highly motivated mental health professionals to join our team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Helpline Response: Ensure hotlines and helplines are properly staffed during line surges, providing call, text and chat support when appropriate.
  • Quality and Management: Maintain standards for effectiveness with callers, utilizing scripts and best practices for all scenarios.
  • Internal Engagement: Be responsive and communicate effectively with assigned stakeholders and internal teams through various channels.
  • Care Coordination: Ensure patients receive follow-up care, conducting regular triage & check-ins.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams and fellow coaches to address clients' needs effectively.
  • Client Focus: Have an empathetic and proactive approach to helping clients in need.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-4 years experience working as a helpline responder.
  • Completed training in SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) or its equivalent.
  • Certified in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention.
  • Masters in Psychology preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Tagalog.
  • Reliability and professionalism at all times.
  • Openness to feedback and willingness to improve and develop.
  • Technical know-how (ideally with Zoom) for meetings and online development courses.
