Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our government sales efforts nationwide.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to target government agencies and local government units (LGUs) across the country.

  • Develop and execute sales plans to identify new business opportunities with government clients.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY STAKEHOLDERS IN GOVERNMENT AND LGUS.
  • Identify collaboration and partnership opportunities with governmental bodies.
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, challenges, and needs within the public sector.
  • LEAD SALES PRESENTATIONS, PROPOSALS, AND NEGOTIATIONS WITH GOVERNMENT CLIENTS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of government contracts.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations, policies, and funding opportunities that impact sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities related to government sales.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, specifically within the public sector or with LGUs.
  • PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT WITH GOVERNMENT CLIENTS.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and funding mechanisms.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, NEGOTIATION, AND PRESENTATION SKILLS.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide.
