Reliability Engineer

We are seeking an experienced reliability engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, toil reduction, and reliability vs. velocity trade-offs.
  • Promote SRE adoption and culture change across teams and applications.
  • Demonstrate expertise in incident management, on-call practices, and blameless postmortems.
  • Utilize Google Cloud Platform services for at least 5 years.
  • Cultivate strong knowledge of Kubernetes, scaling, workload optimization, network policies, service mesh, and troubleshooting.
  • Achieve proficiency in infrastructure as code.
Key Skills:
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization.
  • Strong experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
  • Ability to design and implement alerting strategies aligned with SLOs/SLIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
  • Evangelize SRE best practices and influence engineering/product teams.
  • Mentor engineers and establish communities of practice around reliability.
  • Balances product delivery goals with reliability requirements through effective stakeholder management.
