Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to create, deploy, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments that support our applications and services. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Skills: We require a Cloud Engineer with proficiency in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.
  • Continuous Deployment (CD): Our ideal candidate will develop and maintain automated pipelines, integrating tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Containers: The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility.
  • Observability: We expect the chosen Cloud Engineer to implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions (e.g., New Relic) and use CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events/Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): The role requires expertise in automating tasks using IaC with tools like Terraform to streamline deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Release Management: We need someone who can support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Security: The ideal candidate will apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure.
  • IT Operations: Strong troubleshooting, server resource management, and database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL); experience with Linux and Windows servers is required.
  • Automation: Scripting and automation using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns is essential.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing and IT infrastructure; ability to design and manage complex cloud environments is mandatory.
  • Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an advantage.
  • Technical proficiency in DNS and security certificates; knowledge of securing websites and services is necessary.
