Job Role

This role is an opportunity to join a team and deliver data integrations from internal and external sources into the data warehouse technical stack. The goal is to ensure accurate data delivery to systems and build new data integrations (ETL components).

The person in this role will be responsible for understanding business and data requirements, defining solution approaches, designing and implementing ETL components.

  • Designing and building ETL components using various tools including Matillion.
  • Developing complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data into and from the data warehouse.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to clarify business requirements and offer recommendations for improvements.

Additional responsibilities include participating in peer code reviews, providing coaching and guidance to junior team members on technologies and processes, and providing support and recommendations for testing and UAT for work being delivered.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience working with ETL in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of ETL design methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience working with relational and dimensional data modelling techniques.
  • Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.
