Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to spearhead our test automation efforts. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of Playwright and modern automation tools, as well as expertise in designing and implementing scalable, reusable automation frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers and drive innovation in testing frameworks. They must also be adept at working cross-functionally to embed automation into our CI/CD pipeline and DevOps strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks that prioritize scalability, maintainability, and performance.
  • Evolve test automation architecture to ensure best-in-class design patterns and efficient execution.
  • Establish standards for automation practices, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
  • Conduct research and evaluation of cutting-edge tools to enhance automation coverage and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance on test automation adoption across teams, influencing company-wide QA strategy.
  • Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for automation test development.
  • Develop training initiatives for manual QA engineers transitioning to automation roles.
  • Optimize automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
  • Ease integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, enabling continuous testing and deployment.
  • Implement parallel execution, distributed testing, and cloud-based automation solutions to enhance test efficiency.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to refine test execution strategies and reporting.
  • Create non-functional test scripts and execute them with good understanding of performance testing.
  • Define and track automation KPIs, ensuring measurable improvements in test coverage, execution time, and defect detection.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in QA Automation.
  • Must have experience in Selenium and Playwright.
  • Experience in test automation tools such as Cypress, WebdriverIO, Typescript, etc. is a plus.
  • Must have a solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, design patterns, software testing processes, best practices, and be accustomed to Agile Development.
  • Must be familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools, performance testing, and security testing.
