Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned expert in test automation to lead our QA team. As a Senior Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an end-to-end web testing framework using Playwright.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in AI-assisted testing methodologies, intelligent exploratory testing, and cloud-based test execution. You will work closely with the development team to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless real-time reporting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) and a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including test planning and strategy.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop a comprehensive test automation framework that ensures scalability, maintainability, and robustness.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to implement shift-left testing practices, catching issues early and improving overall quality.
  • Design and develop test reports to provide visibility into test suite performance and failures.
  • Explore and integrate AI-powered tools for test case generation, flakiness detection, and intelligent exploratory testing.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with 3+ years architecting automation frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with test reporting and analytics tools, scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript), and cloud services.
Preferred Skills
  • Deep knowledge of Playwright and its ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered testing tools and LLM-based test generation tools.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
