Operational Automation Specialist

Job Summary: As an Operations Automation Specialist, you will conduct intermediate intelligent automation and business analysis to gather requirements from the Operational Function and translate process improvements and solutions for operations efficiencies. You will gather information, execute, and implement automation and the digitization strategy to deliver the outcomes of the automation to support the Operations function.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and insights teams to support all aspects of process automation engagements including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement while adhering to firm standards, controls, and intelligence automation solutions governance
• Contribute to the implementation of the operational automation strategy involving intelligence automation tools and contribute to the identification of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), or metrics to deliver benefits from operational automation
• Collaborate with technology teams to create necessary infrastructure supporting both traditional coding and low-code automation capabilities
• Utilize intelligent automation solutions and AI technologies allowing the team to automate functions and deliver benefits including capacity creation, risk reduction, and streamlining of operational processes
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring for reliability
• Implement the operational automation strategy involving intelligent automation tools, AI technologies, and work with technology to create required infrastructure supporting automation capabilities
• Support post-delivery enablement teams in training business users, adoption
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members on automation tools and potentially create and/or deliver training curriculum and courses around workflow automation

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in process automation, software development, or systems integration
• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint
• Proficiency in programming languages and technologies, including Python, Java, HTML/CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript with familiarity in both SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Hands-on experience with RPA (UiPath, etc.) and exposure to OCR/IDP platforms (Instabase, etc.)
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern front-end technologies
• Knowledge on API development and integrations
• Experience with version control systems (GitHub, Bit Bucket, etc.)
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices
• Proven experience in collaborating effectively across all levels of an organization
