Database Security Professional

The Database Security Professional plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization's database systems while ensuring their performance and reliability. This position involves designing, implementing, and managing database security measures and policies to protect sensitive information from unauthorized access, breaches, and vulnerabilities.

As a key member of the IT team, the specialist will optimize database performance, conduct regular security audits, and collaborate with development teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into the database management lifecycle.

  1. Must have minimum of five years' work experience as a Database Security Professional or equivalent.
  2. Must have knowledge and experience in DBMS such as Oracle, MSSQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database security measures and policies to protect sensitive information.
  • Optimize database performance to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that security best practices are integrated into the database management lifecycle.
