Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Quality Analyst to collaborate with internal staff in the development of improved capabilities in documentation, coding, and compliance.

The successful candidate will assess and review the overall quality of coding on accounts completed by Medical Coders, ensuring adherence to workflows and ethical coding. They will have advanced knowledge of professional coding (CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS) and be proficient with E/M and CPT Procedure coding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Quality Coding Review Programs: Design and implement quality coding review programs to ensure high standards of coding accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Internal Staff: Collaborate with internal staff to develop and improve capabilities in documentation, coding, and compliance.
  • Assess and Review Coding Quality: Assess and review the overall quality of coding on accounts completed by Medical Coders.
  • Communicate Review Findings: Communicate review findings and recommendations to coding management.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold AAPC and/or AHIMA certification, CPMA is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of six months experience with exceptional performance in chosen area of quality management Medical Coding – demonstrated HIPAA knowledge required.
  • Skills: Possess strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical skills.
