Job Summary:

This role is focused on securing data, network and applications within system development or implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the security health of application systems.
  • Provide security consulting services on information security related matters for project implementations and deployments.
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for system development as it relates to automation, continuous integration/deployment activities and products/services being developed and deployed across the full application development life cycle.
  • Ensure enforcement of security requirements across new application systems and API deployments.
  • Perform threat modeling and business/technical process analysis to identify vulnerabilities/weaknesses on processes and technology implementations.
  • Standardize security requirements covering areas of application system, technical design and architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement security improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and its relation to application security and privacy.
  • Certification training may include CISA, CISSP, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of network and application security risks.
  • Experience in designing, developing or customizing application systems a plus.
  • Deep understanding of system development, including front-end user interfaces and back-end systems.
  • Strong familiarity with web protocols and web services, networking concepts and encryption.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Possess good time management skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be a self-managed individual with organizational skills.
  • Knowledge in using MS office tools.
