Job Overview

This role is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a comprehensive data transformation plan, ensuring alignment with corporate governance policies and standards. The successful candidate will drive risk reduction initiatives, foster adherence to regulatory requirements, and exercise control over resources, policy formulation, and planning.

A thorough understanding of enterprise data governance principles, combined with hands-on experience in implementing them within complex organizations, is essential. Effective communication skills are required to influence stakeholders at senior levels, promote cross-functional collaboration, and facilitate change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic leadership and direction of data integration projects, including team management, resource allocation, and operational planning.
  • Partnering with senior project staff and client management teams to drive project execution, ensure compliance with Citi standards, and address potential barriers to timely delivery.
  • Liaising between the Enterprise Chief Data Office, Federated Chief Data Office, and other key partners to progress the Data Transformation agenda.
  • Management of remediation workstreams, data quality rules, lineage, and taxonomy across the enterprise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Banking or Finance, with a proven track record of working as a Program or Project Manager on large-scale strategic projects.
  • Strong business analysis competency, with expertise in shaping opportunities through conceptual thinking and abstract problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive consensus and influence relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance effective and efficient processes, with a focus on continuous improvement and organizational savvy.
