Job Title: Data Protection Specialist

As a key member of the organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Protection Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the protection and confidentiality of sensitive data.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing all contracts and agreements involving personal data, handling internal data privacy issues, and liaising with regulatory agencies such as NPC or DICT. You will also assist in the preparation of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), conduct PIA reviews, and facilitate data breach drills.

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of solid experience in contract review/drafting and case management
  • Experience in reporting to regulatory bodies such as the NPC, BSP, or SEC is required
  • Data Privacy-related Certifications are an advantage
