About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing data entry, and ensuring data accuracy, security, and usability for cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage database usage questions at the project level, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Determine whether issues should be escalated to support teams and coordinate accordingly.
  • Identify client reporting needs and collaborate with support teams for new reports.
  • Ensure data points align with client requirements and coordinate with support teams for custom reports.
  • Establish data entry and reporting workflows based on required data points for each project.
  • Coordinate team roles and permissions for the GRID system and include roster details in project documentation.
  • Provide training to users and set up training at project start and for new team members.
  • Perform QA/QC activities to ensure accurate data entry, verify data completeness, and accuracy.
  • Export and review reports for quality assurance and coordinate data issue resolutions with project teams and support teams.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues, assist with database enhancements, and provide demonstrations of database functionality to employees and clients.
  • Grant GRID access to projects as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in data entry, database administration, or data support roles.
  • Experience with database systems (e.g., Salesforce, Access, SQL-based systems, or proprietary platforms).
  • Familiarity with report generation and data exports/imports; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to identify data inconsistencies; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and in a team, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
