Job Overview

Our ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of a dynamic office, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

  • Manage vendor relationships to achieve optimal cleaning, security, maintenance, and workplace services
  • Partner with global facilities leads to implement best practices and programs enhancing the workplace experience
  • Lead preventative maintenance initiatives and resolve issues promptly, ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Represent Canva's Space Creation team in construction projects and support moves, additions, changes, and minor facility projects
Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Management: Manage vendors for cleaning, security, maintenance, and workplace services

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the Global Facilities Lead and Space Creation team to enhance the workplace experience

Safety and Compliance: Oversee preventative maintenance initiatives and ensure compliance with local regulations

Construction Projects: Represent Canva's interests in construction projects and support facility improvements

Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing facilities operations, workplace safety, and vendor relationships in a multinational or multi-site environment
  • Passionate about creating exceptional workplace experiences and driving strategic improvements
  • Hold a Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification and relevant experience as a Safety Officer 3 (SO3)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across global teams and diverse functions
