Software Quality Assurance Lead Role

The ideal candidate will oversee all testing activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This position requires a deep understanding of QA methodologies and strategies to ensure quality standards.

  • Mentor and lead a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies, processes, and best practices.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
  • Supervise the execution of manual and automated tests, ensuring thorough coverage and timely defect identification.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle, ensuring defects are accurately documented, tracked, and resolved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding of product requirements and quality expectations.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing activities, defects, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG), and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile/Scrum practices.
