Job Overview

The Senior Manager- Transitions role is a challenging opportunity for a skilled professional to lead medium to large-sized client-facing projects from initiation to close-down. The successful candidate will oversee and direct regional Sutherland staff and activities required for the First Time Right implementation of projects supporting clients and enterprise business globally.

This is a mid-level position that requires excellent customer service and communication skills as a successful candidate will be working closely with customers to deliver their projects on time and on budget.

  • Makes a significant contribution to the achievement of operational targets with significant impact on results.
  • Works independently with limited supervision.
  • Has ability to handle most unique customer situations that require significant adaptation of existing guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager- Transitions will be responsible for:

  • Leading combined teams with senior clients, 3rd party vendors, and Sutherland personnel.
  • Reporting and presenting to executive management.
  • Self-driven, passionate about problem-solving, and willing to embrace challenges head-on.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
  • Work experience to include exposure to IT, telecommunications, and application development.
  • 5-7 years of project management experience.
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
