Housekeeping Attendant Role

This position offers the perfect opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about providing top-notch customer service.

  • We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.

A key aspect of this role is supporting all housekeeping and laundry operations by addressing guest requests, delegating tasks within the team, and ensuring work is completed efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness and appearance across all areas of housekeeping and laundry.
  2. Maintain a close eye on the performance of team members, emphasizing training and teamwork to drive excellence.
  3. Provide exceptional guest service through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
  4. Support room availability and floor supervision to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  5. Manage departmental controls, including staff frequency, master key release, incident logging, linen, and uniform inputs/outputs.
  6. Stay up-to-date on daily guest information and preferences, ensuring timely resolutions to meet their needs.
  7. Coordinate special requests, such as flowers for occasions, and related linen services.
  8. Maintain Lost and Found records and donate items as needed.
  9. Check uniforms and arrange cleaning or repair when necessary.
  10. Coordinate department paperwork, staff movements, and linen releases for daily laundry.
  11. Process daily clothing releases for laundry service.
  12. Assist in closing monthly laundry expenses and provisioning.
  13. Act as a substitute Laundry Attendant during holidays, days off, or absences.

Requirements:

  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in laundry operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office at an intermediate level.
  • Dedication to delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • High standards of cleanliness.
