PR Account Assistant

We are seeking an experienced, native English speaker to join our organization as a PR Account Assistant.

About the Role:

  • Support the development and implementation of client communication strategies
  • Manage client relationships, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing updates
  • Conduct research and gather information to support client campaigns
  • Draft press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials
  • Coordinate media outreach and manage media lists
  • Monitor media coverage and track campaign results
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Provide administrative support to the Account Executive, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in PR, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an account management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Native English speaker with excellent grammar and spelling skills

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective communication plans to meet client objectives
  2. Maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and issue resolution
  3. Research and analyze data to inform client campaigns and provide valuable insights
  4. Create engaging content for various platforms, including press releases and social media
  5. Identify and pursue media opportunities to maximize brand visibility
  6. Track and report on campaign results to measure effectiveness
  7. Collaborate with the Account Executive to ensure seamless delivery of client services
  8. Provide exceptional administrative support to the Account Executive, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining files

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in an account management role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
