The Hershey Company is seeking a Consumer Engagement Specialist to be the voice of their consumers across digital formats.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, PR, English or Marketing required
  • At least 1-2 years of related experience and excellent written/verbal English skills essential
  • Able to adapt and differentiate between various brand voices/tones/personalities
Key Responsibilities
  • Written Consumer Engagement (90%): Respond promptly to consumer product/company concerns and inquiries following SLAs and pre-defined best practices for consumer engagement
  • Consumer Relations Operations Support (10%): Assist the Global Consumer Relations Team with ad-hoc assignments to support other traditional consumer engagement operational requirements
Requirements
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience engaging with consumers
  • Independent self-starter and able to prioritize work
  • Detail-oriented and a great team player and communicator

This role will execute the day-to-day 'tone of voice' for multiple brands in response to consumer comments/inquiries received via email. The successful candidate will help drive consumer loyalty through direct engagement and replies to online reviews, signifying to future purchasers that the company will support them if they have an issue.

Key responsibilities include responding to consumer inquiries and concerns, as well as assisting with consumer relations operations support. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess excellent communication skills, be able to adapt to different brand voices, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
