Embedded Linux Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Embedded Linux expert to drive our expansion into mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco. As an Embedded Linux Field Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our customer engagement strategy and delivering cutting-edge solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers during the pre-sales process to gather requirements and showcase Canonical technology capabilities
  • Develop comprehensive solution proposals for prospective clients
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • Extensive experience with Linux, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
  • Distribution and packaging expertise (deb, rpm, etc.)
  • Strong background in embedded Linux development (Yocto, Buildroot, etc.)
  • Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust programming languages
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Result-driven, with strong multi-tasking and commitment management skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with customer-facing engagements is a significant advantage
