Job Title: Embedded Linux Solutions Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Embedded Linux expert to join our team in the APAC region. As a highly skilled professional, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers during the presales phase to gather requirements and explain Canonical technology
  • Present solutions to prospective clients
  • Contribute to the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux
  • Communicate market requirements to key stakeholders and contribute to the development or refinement of generic solutions to unlock market potential
Key Requirements:
  • Fluent Mandarin speaker willing to travel to China regularly
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Extensive experience in Linux - Debian or Ubuntu preferred
  • Distribution/Packaging expertise (deb, rpm, ...)
  • Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...)
  • Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Result-oriented, able to multi-task
  • A personal drive to meet commitments; humble learner and quick study
  • Willing to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences
