We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Specialist to drive technical projects from start to finish.


About the Role

The ideal candidate will design secure infrastructure, work directly with clients, and thrive in a fast-moving environment. Key responsibilities include collaborating with coworkers, vendors, and clients to design and implement diverse technical engineering projects. This may involve building and administering networks, firewalls, and wireless networks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement technical engineering projects
  • Build and administer networks, firewalls, and wireless networks
  • Perform migrations and manage complex administrative tasks
  • Take ownership of issues, projects, or architectural designs from start to finish

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of technical experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator. You should also have prior MSP experience and be comfortable working with multiple clients.


Technical Requirements:
  • Experience configuring firewalls, switches, and servers (WatchGuard and Fortinet preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate enterprise-level understanding of change control processes, proper documentation standards, and effective communication practices
  • Experience working with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
  • Strong background in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, clustering technologies)
  • Familiarity with VDI/Session-based desktop design (Citrix, Microsoft RDS)
  • Knowledgeable in LAN/WAN infrastructure and system/network security best practices
  • Experience in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python)
