Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure platforms to deliver scalable and reliable services to our customers.
  • Virtual Machine (VM) Migrations: Plan and execute VM migrations across multiple environments with minimal downtime.
  • Linux Administration: Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting production workloads.
  • Hypervisor Platforms: Manage and operate hypervisor platforms (Proxmox VE, VMware) for provisioning, migration, and lifecycle management.
  • Automation Scripts: Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Perl; Python optional) to support migration, monitoring, and routine operations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL, or similar).
  • Proven expertise with hypervisors: Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl; Python a plus).
  • Practical experience with infrastructure automation (Puppet, Ansible).
  • Track record of successful VM migrations in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of change management practices (MOPs, CMRs).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in virtualized and Linux environments.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including out-of-hours maintenance windows.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
