Join our team as an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to optimize revenue cycles and ensure timely collections.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in reviewing and following up on outstanding accounts receivable balances, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies, and communicating with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to address payment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable (AR) collections processes efficiently and effectively.
  • Review and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and discrepancies in payment postings.
  • Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to address payment issues and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Utilize EMR systems to track and manage accounts receivable activities.
  • Analyze AR aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on delinquency levels.
  • Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an AR Collections Specialist or similar role in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems is required.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exceed performance targets.
