Job Opportunity: Paraplanning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our financial planning team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

The successful candidate will support senior financial planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing comprehensive SOAs and ROAs in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conducting product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assisting in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilizing financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Working closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role, strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements, and proficiency with financial planning tools. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers are also essential. Successful candidates will be expected to adapt to new financial planning software and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote role that requires minimal supervision. Applicants should be available for meetings and collaboration during core business hours and disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
