ServiceNow Support Specialist Role

The ideal candidate for this ServiceNow support specialist role will have a strong background in IT service management and excellent technical skills to provide high-quality support services.

About the Job
  • This is a dynamic position that requires a motivated individual to work as the first point of contact for ServiceNow functional support requests from end-users and stakeholders.
  • Provide daily functional and process support across various ServiceNow modules, including incident management, problem management, change management, service request, CMDB, and knowledge management.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements and coordinate with technical teams for configuration or development.
  • Maintain and update process documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
  • Monitor platform usage and identify opportunities for process improvements or automation.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new users on ServiceNow features and functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for ServiceNow-related issues and requests.
  • Offer timely and effective support to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge base articles and training materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow updates, features, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and configuration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM processes and workflows.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow-related issues.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of cloud-based solutions and SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and standards.
  • Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting.
