About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Backend Developer to join our team and drive the development of robust backend systems. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to play a key role in shaping our product offerings.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance backend applications and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and implement APIs for seamless integration with front-end components.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from developing new features to optimizing existing services. You will also contribute to the design and architecture of microservices and serverless components.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical skills, including proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby. You will also need experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.

Familiarity with cloud solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and security standards and best practices for web applications is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and implement APIs for seamless integration with front-end components.
  • Optimize existing backend services for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of data through implementing best practices in database management.
  • Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on server-side architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
  • Extensive experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of security standards and best practices for web applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
